I like the way you think! The concept of "unsprung weight" is rarely mentioned in discussions of wheel/tire sizes here. I never bought into the "bigger is always better" dogma.

John...is that a Westfield as in "Lotus 7" type. WOW, I used to race against those things in my SCCA days. I would drive that too and you can still join us, but you have to be nice to us when we go around corners haha!

Yep. It was corner balanced at 1238.5lb with 4 gallons of fuel and currently has 190hp. I have the parts in the garage to up that to 220hp as soon as I find the time. Here is a pic of the car and our alarm system.
