I own a company that sells portable tradeshow displays. The type that our clients can take on a plane or ship via Fed-Ex/UPS to the show, setup themselves, etc.

Just begining my investigation and eventual search for my dream 993. Hope to have one by Summer.

What a superb idea!

For the past five years, I've been a top-producing realtor with RE/MAX and help people buy and sell real estate in and around the Baltimore and Washington areas. As a Maryland resident for almost 44 years, I know the area well and have a wide network in various industries.

Prior to that, I was an advertising photographer for thirteen years in Baltimore. I shot for ad agencies, magazines, graphic designers and direct clients and, very generally speaking, specialized in photographing people on location. It was a great business while it lasted, filled with lots of travel, creativity, intense pressures and soaring fun, but real estate has been more financially rewarding.

vjd3 - You gotta be kidding me - "Lead Guitar Player for a Grateful Dead Band? I never knew, but how would I have? I'm listening to "Bertha" right now from your my space link on your website
http://www.myspace.com/playingdeadlive
and am smiling from ear to ear. I'm a HUGE Grateful Dead fan and have seen 135 shows and 65 Jerry Garcia Band shows in my time from '79-'95. I have about live tapes and 65 bootleg videos. I just adore this music.

That music fills my heart with happiness

Ok, I'm back: Me? If you ever move into Montgomery County, MD, I can get you a hell of a deal on you cable TV, digital voice home phone service and your high-speed internet all from Comcast . Yes, I'm the lowly cable tv guy, but hey... at least I'm living large and driving a 993 .

I'm loving this whole networking and "what do you do for a living" thing. It's all fascinating to me.

I'm a project manager for apartment and condo construction, with a smattering of office and retail space thrown in for good measure.

I guess I am the other other "IT Guy" ...
I am the Chief Technology Officer of a 260 persons firm, in Milford, CT, with a few remote offices in US. I have been working with GIS technologies for over 20 years. The datacenter, a few feet from my office, has 150+ servers, and over 120 Tera bytes of highend FC-SAN storage.

Cheers

"What can Brown do for me?" Give me a raise so I will be able to pay my P-car off a little sooner than expected, and do all the "mod's" I have been wanting to do. I would personally like to thank each of you for your business, and apologize for any damages that might have occurred in the past. My "Hub" here in Knoxville, Tn. processes rite at 300,000 parcels in a 24 hour period. This doesn't even include our "peak-season"...thank God that is over!!!

I'm a CAD Designer/Drafter at a small Professional Engineering and Land
Surveying Firm in Kingston, NY. We are currently using Autodesk's Land
Desktop 2006 and RasterDesign. Our firm covers municipal and commercial
projects.

Prior to this job I worked 20 years for a Blow Molded plastics manufacturer.
There I worked with AutoCad and Pro Engineer to design and document the
products and specialized manufacturing tooling that was needed.

What a good idea. For the last 22 years I've been a trial lawyer in Austin, Texas. Generally, my cases are businesses suing other businesses in the great state of Texas.

I seem to be the first finance guy to post but suspect I may not be the last! Almost eighteen years doing finance/audit/consulting roles in international companies with risk management, outsourcing and shared services experience (technology and media sectors). I'm currently doing a global FD/CFO/projects role but may soon be made redundant so am keen to hear of UK-based roles. :-)

Cheers,

David
