Look what I got for Christmas!
Seasons Greetings, fellow Rennlisters!
I apologize for being absent from this board for quite a while. For numerous reasons, I've not been able to visit as often as I'd like, so I thought I'd start by sharing what I got for Christmas.
My girlfriend Nan knows all about the "Other Woman". It's a good thing the "other" stays in the garage and I miss it terribly during the winters so....to remind me, she sketched the following in colored pencil. Needless to say, I was completely floored. She is an art teacher, but I never thought she'd be able to pull this off. Enjoy!

Thanks. The avatar was actually hand drawn by my son, a couple of years ago (yes, lots of artists in my family).
The SC is holding up well, although it started making a little bit of noise last year that mysteriously went away. No loss in boost, and the car seems to be holding up well.
This spring I'll have the gearbox oil changed, and replace the main belt. 20K miles on the SC and counting!

It's good to hear from you, thanks for asking. My parents are doing well, and have retired. They are now living in Alabama. We were very fortuntate in finding them when we did.
The sight of Waveland, MS right after Katrina is etched in my memory forever. I had seen nothing like it before, and I hope I never see it again.
