Default Pics after RoW M030

For those who asked in another thread, here are some pics I took this morning after getting my suspension upgrade earlier this week. It's certainly not "slammed" (which I would not want anyway), but it's a good bit lower than it was. Now it looks like it should, IMHO. When I picked up the car, I actually thought they had lowered my seat because I felt noticably closer to the ground!

Nice Bruce. Alameda/Port of Oakland is nice background and lighting looks good today, a bit chilly but definitely clear sky.

Beautiful shots, and great look for the car.

Were the Mythbusters guys around, by any chance?

Beautiful car, great backdrop too. You could stand to go a bit lower than that, but that's personal preference

Looks great!

Now, be ready--you won't be able to see SUV 993s without thinking it needs to be lowered.

Thanks guys. I wish I were playing hookie, but no such luck. (I'm hoping we can get a drive going at some point. I really want to see - and hear - some other folks' cars.) I took the pics on my way in this mornging. I have a client in Alameda that I work with on a regular basis.

Didn't see any Mythbusters (tv show?) people.

The cones you see in the background on a couple of pics were for some kind of Saturn demo day or something. I was tempted to ask them to let me test the course for them .

I suppose the car could be lowered a bit more, but I think it looks pretty good as-is, plus it's my daily driver so I need to make it over speed bumps and what-not.

Anyway, I'm happy as a clam with the new setup.

Bruce, what is your new ride height when measured from level ground to the top arch of fender?

Thanks.

Ted, according to the shop, it's 25-5/8" and 25-1/2" in the rear and to 25-3/4" and 25-5/8" in the front, left and right, respectively. So it's 1/8" higher in the front and 1/8" higher on the left. I have not tired to measure the factory shop manual measurements under the car.

24FPS, I was surprised to see the seagul when I first looked at the pic on the computer. Yes, big difference in handling! I could feel that something was different 10 yards out of the driveway of the shop when I picked it up. On my secret testing grounds (some twisties in the Bezerkeley hills) the difference was absolutely astounding. I kept pushing harder and harder (without being stupid), and where I previously felt uneasy and had to slow down, it was now rock solid.
