Default Are there dummy switches to replace unused switches?

So I now have 2 switches that do nothing- spoiler control and rear wiper. Per the parts katalogue, there may be blank switches available. I'm just wondering what others have done about this.

I guess I could just scrape off the white image on the switch...

Eric, I have a plastic blank "filler switch" that was in the place where the rear wiper switch usually is. I put my oil cooler fan bypass switch in this spot. I think I threw the blank in my toolbox. your welcome to it if you want. I know you need 2 but maybe someone has done the same?

I think you can use the late 944 85.5 and later console switch blanks. Since the remote fan switch is a 944 late Hazard switch. I'll be able to check it out tomorrow when I go into the shop this weekend if I remember.

Use one to have a K40 switch installed. (My K40 City/Highway LED even replaced the spoiler LED.)

I found a part no. with all the switches called "switch, display specimen" part no. 993.613.523.00, costs around $3-$4. But I don't know if that will work well for this use or not. Parts Katalogue doesn't show usage in any 993's.

I'd like to buy these switches if you block them off with blanks. I have a blank I could send you....

Now that the crass commercialism is out of the way, I used one of the spoiler rocker switches to control a pair of door openers, which I stuck inside the console. Up opens my garage door, down opens my wife's. It's nice because the openers are totally hidden and everything looks stock.

I did the same thing but I used a Targa switch since it sorta looks like a garage door.

Thanks! Do you also recall what was the approximate price? It being a Porsche part I'm not expecting that it was cheap

I did the exact same thing -- use a Targa switch for my GDO. Love it!
