Cleaned my ISV tonight and glad I did it was partially stuck and grungy.
Unfortunately, was focusing so much on how to get to the clamp screws and remove it I was not paying attention to the direction of air flow until after it was ready to go back in. I am guessing that it should be in the same direction as the intake air flow??
Non-varioram, '95 993 should the air flow arrow be pointing at you (to rear of car)? The setup seems bit different from the varioram model in the p-car DIY .

If you look at the top left side of the canister above where the hoses connect there should be an arrow pointing toward the rear of the car.
