I would be in line if I did not have the Ruf module already. Very nice work.

You can count me in as well if you decide to move this forward into 'production'...I was just inquiring with Ruf recently on acquiring a module...looks like yours has much more useful functionality. Great Work!

Again the fact that he can do this is amazing but what's the benefit.

From my perspective, the up-down mechanism of the spoiler never properly took into account real world driving situations... works great if you hop on the highway then park the car, but any kind of stop and go traffic, esp. w/ traffic lights results in your not-so-stealth spoiler going up and down all the time.
Plus the one-touch manual raise also makes sense compared to having to hold it down until you see the spoiler fully raised (or stop hearing the mechanism noise.)
No biggie, just a little way to make the day to day driving even better!

Main reason is to stop light to light cycling of the wing.. the wing is an aerodynamic and cooling device (i believe) neither of which you need driving round town. The RUF module makes the limits thus reducing the constant cycling of the wing when its not really necessary and in turn extending the lifespan of the mechanism. This one is just the same.. but better..

This would be great. I would have it programmed to go up at 65 MPH if I am above that speed for more than 10 seconds and not go down until I have been stopped for more that 10 seconds. That should work for the Los Angeles freeways.
With that said....put me in line.

Nice work Colin! I wondered when someone might do this.
Probably wouldn't want to try boarding a plane with it in your carry-on though

So, any idea of what the cost would be to produce these for a group buy? Like many of you I have always thought the Ruf module was too much money for what it does but I really don't like the way my spoiler works in real world driving. I've been considering changing to a fixed wing for just that reason (and the looks) but if the stock spoiler could be made to work more logically I might just keep it.
