I'm with Michael S - I had a 3rd generation RX7 and loved its neutral setup and feel, but the 993 feels so much more solid expecially at higher speeds. I would never go back...

Fun video, thanks for sharing. How many days until March... I can't wait...

I miss my '86 RX7 GXL. It died when I blew an O-ring just like the space shuttle's booster rocket. The girl I was trying to catch up to when I hit redline on the 405 freeway was worth it (or she would've been worth it if she stopped to help) I remember the RX7's last few seconds of life as I coasted right down the offramp into a gas station (sniffle sniffle)....I remember that I also made the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp and into the service station lot. Wound up with a tired old '72 Datsun 240 or something for a little while until I crashed it into a curb and broke off a wheel (Note to self: Rain, bald tires, and a bad attitude about not finding a parking space don't mix on the UCSD campus)

Pat,
Damn you drive just like me

Wow those hands look just like mine

Holy **** we have the same helmet

Wait, that's my car

1st vid the driver of the P car thought I had some massive power so he wasn't lifting. Typical P car driver hehe

The second vid I'm on street tires so I was sliding around a bit but no black flags anywhere in site those flag men have seen me flogging too many FDs to pay any attention.

Nope that's Gene Felbers old ride and it gave me lots of good times

I only drove yours on track that one weekend but it did have potential. It ran some 2.11s on stock size victo racers so with 285 hoos it would of run some 7s or 8s no problem. Gene's car lacked some top end which really hurt it and you can see the Porsche taking advantage of me

Here's a better look at that second vid. I love that clean white NSX and the grand course is such a cool track.
