FYI, if you have technipolish centers, then they are clearcoated. The anodized centers are known as race satin. http://fikse.com/finishes.html
Pat - Not even painted wheels are immune to corrosive race pad dust and moisture. The cool thing about anodized wheels is that you can pressure wash them to blast the crud out.
Tony - Extra time on my hands is something I don't have...but in the winter I feel compelled to take care of the cosmetic stuff I never have time to do in the summer.

I too have FM10's with Race Satin centres and polished lip along with Supercups....It seems that this is a very common upgrade on the 993's, especially the Silver ones !!!
