Default FS: Polar Silver 993 Cabriolet

Please help me price my car and sell it
Although it makes me very sad, it is time for me to part with my cabriolet. I purchased a 993TT and the cab has just been sitting. I NEED HELP PRICING THE CAR. Many fellow Rennlisters know the car very well. In fact, Chris Walrod has worked on the car (clutch and a bunch of other items). All other work was done at Beverly Hills Porsche by a mechanic that I use trust implicitly. They keep very good service records there. Photos will follow in the next few days, but here are some details and my contact information:

1996 993 Cab Polar Silver
83,xxx miles
Seats were removed at 65,xxx miles and put in storage. Reinstalled yesterday.
Euro front bumper
Clear corner euro lights
RUF aux oil cooler
RSR exhaust
Techart big ovals
Bilsiten HD with HR springs (cornerbalanced and set up by Johnson Alignment and then Viperbob
Euro M030 swaybars F/R
Big red Turbo brakes bought new from Viperbob at around 65,xxx miles
k-40 built in radar F/R with laser diffuser
Supple leather seats
Short shift (Gert factory part...)
Rod Birch Stereo (2x Audison amps, SUB ENCLOSURES and Focal speakers all around.... over$ 4k invested in parts easily)
New Alpine unit (less than 2 months) with IPOD direct interface and Alpine digital sound processor
Factory RS strut brace
18" turbo twist wheels
Top was redone 2 years ago and shows wear. I never put it up so never worried about it.
Car will be delivered with a front respray from Avio Coachcraft in los angeles as someone sat on my hood at my house- an accident. Not certain if hood needs to be replaced, but I already have a new hood in my possesion.
Car drives amazingly and many can vouch for this. The car has a clean carfax as far as I know.
Only damage history aside from the hood:
Car was stopped when a van rubbed the left fron fender. I kept the original fender and photos which I will post. I replaced the fender and have both in my possestion along with the front bumper that was on the car when it happend. .
I would like to keep the car in the RL family.... Please give me ideas on what is a fair number and then lets get it sold.
Thanks,
Michael

Great car!!! I guess after driving the turbo it's hard going back to the NA? Interesting as I have a cab and will be looking for a turbo soon. I was thinking of owning both but often wonder if the cab is going to loose its appeal and sit unused.

You have some great upgrades on your car and someone is going to get an awesome cab. While the mileage is on the higher side, I'm sure someone will see value in the mods and pay for it. I'd say somwhere around high $30s.

Looking at prices on Autotrader and some other places I couldn't believe how high some 993 prices are especially on the low mile cars. I would never look at a car as an investment but it's kind of cool to see the 993's hold there value like they are.

I have been driving this car about a 100 miles a month and still love it, but.... Time to sell it. I have never posted the car for sale aside from this thread because I guess deep down inside I do not want to part with it. The car is perfect and needs a new home. I need to keep the 993TT (the other 993) that I drive and yes, I need to buy an SUV. Tell your friends!!! First $33,000 takes the ride. I will be posting it to Autotrader and the likes on Monday.
Thanks for your time.

Seems like a fair price. I just sold a '95 Polar Silver cab with 60,000 miles for $30,500. It was a nice car but a '94 964 Turbo 3.6 beckoned. The biggest regret I have is not buying the Turbo earlier---WOW...what a car!!!

I'd think $33K is a very fair price for a RL cared for 993.
