See I actually have a C2 with Ruf selected gearings to match the torque curve. I have not driven 993tt extensively to feel the difference, but in my case, I do have the fun of a 2WD C2, with the power of a 993tt on steroids.

Assuming you may be a little chubby.....
like a lot of....us, lose some weight. Next, put the car on a diet. Pull out the viscous coupler and take her back to 2wd. Replace the stock seats with Carbon fiber seats....If you want to feel fast, add a FabSpeed Super Cup Exhaust. Replace those stock wheels with BBS 3 piece......anything past this, you will really need a wallet transplant.
The real deal, your won't get more than 15 to 25 more HP out of the car if you want it to pass smog....just sell it and get a 2004 GT3...your worries will be over!

Got a GT2 and a GT3.....
Are you taking any of this iron to the track? If you have...no further discussion necessary. If you are not, consider it. It is really the only place to experience the car at anywhere near its potential. Just cover the car in 3m film, don't hit anything, and all will be well.

Atan888,
What's up Brahdah?! Yeah I'm still up working late tonight. Man I would love to see your car collection. Let me know when that RS comes in. I think the next BAR get together should be over at your house. So we can drool at your collection.

With the additional advantage of not having to touch the engine...

I recommed the Cargraphic 100 cell cats, save 10 lbs at the extreme back and pick up 10 true HP. Easy bold in. Euro transmission is also a great mod but more money.
