Wow - what a difference with my new 4-poster
I ordered a BendPak 4-poster a few weeks ago - and yesterday I finally got to use the finished product.
What an effort
I wouldn't say the instructions were great - but they're better than the ones you get from a Bilstein or H&R suspension kit

The biggest issue was the sheer weight of everything - the ramps themselves are about 350lbs. - and it took four guys to prop each up onto the lift bars - we all came away with bruised shoulders.
The other very interesting bit was - I had no idea that these lifts require a compressed air feed to release the safety locks.
There were also no instructions on installing the optional hydraulic jack - which works great - until I realized that the warning notes on the jack again referred to compressed air.
In the end, I already had a compressor, but what I did was to run air lines throughout the garage, and now I have hanging air hoses in 3 locations in the garage.
So, this is the first big step in my garage reno - which is going to be dedicated to my auto fetishes

And thanks for helping me take down the wood beam!Oh yeah, before I forget, I haven't installed them yet, but this baby comes with casters - that's right, I can move it around if I want to put it in the middle of the garage - pretty nifty
