New 993 owner...
I just purchased a 993 cab with 60K. It's absolutely perfect and love the car! Already coming from a very high hp car the 993 is a welcome addition. I am, however, looking to upgrade the performance. I'm wondering what the best software available is for the 993. Any other tips on upgrades such as air filter or exhaust is welcomed.
Looking forward to a long lasting relationship with my new ride.

Welcome to RL.
The best bang for your buck is the LWF/RS clutch combi. As for aftermarket SW... not very good unless tuned on a rolling road/dyno.
Do a search "you lazy bones"!! (saying was quoted originally by a RIP RL member) I miss his biting humor. Others may not feel the same....

At 60k your 993 is surely in need of a new suspension. Check out this site for information as well as one of the most sought after exhaust/muffler updates available.

You don't mention what year your cab is...if its a '96, not much luck on a software upgrade without having to replace the ECU....big bucks. If it's not a '96....talk to Steve Weiner (resident 993 guru) here.

Most here believe the stock airbox/filter is hard to improve on for more HP. Some elect to drill holes in it for added sound at WOT.
We're all anxious to see pics of your new 993. Any time a new one comes on the scene....we're thrilled to add another member of the family.

HP enhancements depend on model year- which one do you have? Tons of threads on the subject.
You'd also be welcomed (and encouraged!) to join RL if you haven't already done so.

Thanks for all the overwhelming responses. I def feel welcomed...a pleasant surprise indeed.
A bit about my new (to me) car. I'm from Toronto so of course it's a 'Canadian'
1996 993 Cab. 1 owner with complete history and books. Titanium Silver on light grey. 60 Km's. Perfect shape, all original incl. paint.
I apologize for not having any pics but I literarily took possession of it last nite. I will take some snaps and post them as soon as I can wipe the silly grin off my face and start focusing.

Hey 99three, Don't feel like your being "brow-beat". I was done the same way....new member here too. The pics to "US" Rennlisters, is like a sexy woman walking into a prison. We just want to see her and drool over what the other guy has. Hope you have fun with her and be safe.
