ABD,LSD
Am looking @ a '98 C2S blk/blk, motor sound, alum. pkge, sport seats, rear wiper, red calipers & stainless pipes....very clean but no ABD,LSD
Pros & cons of not having this option?

for street driving, you prolly wont notice a difference, for track driving, the LSD option will help settle the car but the real advantage, IMO, is on the brakes. The ramp type LSD engages the clutch packs on decel as well.

IMO lsd is necessary for any performance application, that said the oem 993 lsd is not the most durable.
ABD acts like lsd below 43mph but is more oriented to bad weather (snowy slick surfaces) than performance. But one often overlooked big plus for performance is that the ABD equipped cars also have 4 channel ABS. Each wheel ABS actuation is independant of the other 3, non ABD cars have 3 channel ABS, the 2 front wheels are independant but the 2 rears are on the same control circuit.
all C4 have ABD and lsd, on the C2 the ABD and lsd were paired options if you have one then you have the other(exception tips can have ABD but not lsd).
An easy way to check w/o getting dirty is to look at the ABS pump in the trunk, if there are 2 p/vs for the 2 rear circuits then you have ABD and lsd, if there is only a single p/v then the 2 rears are on the same circuit.

Of course all C4's have LSD, otherwise they would be called C3's
