Am I the only one that sees the humor in grown men becoming enraged to the point of feeling the need to post a public apology over words written on an automobile message board? Think of the conversation at home "dad, I read your posts on rennlist. ah, um. . .damn, and you say I spend too much time of the computer. You do know it's just a message board, right?"

Clearly, for you, it's just a message board.

For other people, it's a community, the genesis of some great friendships, etc. *Your* reality isn't the only one.

If you live in another town from your mother, and primarily interact with her on the phone, then she's 'just a disembodied voice on the telephone'... right?

Well you clearly are an odd fellow. Try to be normal, please. Step inside the house, turn on your computer and type. The people you read about on forums are your real friends. That is funny....but, watch yourself! you could single handedly cause people to publicly say "I'm taking my toys and leaving here and never coming back", who will later post again to tell you how they "still wasting my time".......and won't be back again.
