Default Dach X pipe experience with diff combo's

Well, the X pipe has been installed.... to those that do not have this on their cars, you have no idea what you are missing. I cannot tell you how dissapointed I was with the sound of the C4S when I brought her home. Waayyyy to quiet. The sound now is Spectacular!!
I first purchased a set of RSR's to use, OK sound, but not there.
Next was X pipe with RSR's, to loud.
X pipe with stock mufflers.... PERFECT.
Nice growl at idle, nice midrange, WOT beautiful. No resonance.
Problem is I cannot stop driving this car!!

How loud is too loud with RSRs?

I have X's with stockers and love them but feel I could love them more possibly with different mufflers.

Just a bit to loud, but the deep mellow sound was not as pronounced either.
Only way to find out if it'll work for you is to find a used set and put them on. You'll have no problem re-selling them.

You mean it sounded loud and "tinny"?

I wouldn't say it sounds tinny at all. She burbles at idle thick and rich.......mid range is menacing and WOT is nothing less than madness. The x-pipe is loud with RSR's. I'd say comparable to Fabspeed Supercups.

Switching out the x-pipe and putting in the same with sport cats in a few weeks. Curious to see and will note any differences.

I will say (not that I am biased or anything ) that I think the best way to go for all around use is the X-pipes with motorsound muffs. David (Riiter) will be receiving the first of the DACH R's (Dakars') shortly . Should be louder than motorsound, but without without resonance (all things considered)

Oh and Andrew, thanks for the nice right up.......your commission check is in the mail
Didn't I tell you, you wouldn't be disappointed? Didn't lie did I?

Yeah, you were right. Without the X-pipe I'd probably would have sold the car!!
Thanks again.
