OT: Supercharged
Can someone, in laymans terms, tell me how a supercharger works? And, is it more or less reliable as a turbo?
I did go thru our old posts and didn't find a simple description. I have little mechanical ability.

Just musing -- I'd like to go to a turbo but I'm concerned about reliability. It appears that the supercharger may be better, at least from that perspective. That was a great site -- thanks again
