hi all,
i own an 87 911(love it),but am considering a 993.I own a 95 7 years ago,but returned it when I found out the entire car had been re-painted and had major body work.It was a 95 and also ran rough..I ended up with a boxster s.(fun car)..Anyhow,which year do think? I was looking at victorymotor cars..Iknow the guy has a bad rep,but Ispoke to him in detail about the things I have read here and on pelican. He said that the amount of cars he sells that the handful of bad feedback is not that bad...He seemed like an ok guy..He had several 993s..97 with 41k for 37k...he would also take my car on trade..I would of course do a ppi..and even fly there to look at and drive the car...back to the year, should I look for a 95 due to some of the problems with the later obd2 cars or its fine...I also love the c2s..Or do I just keep my well sorted out 87...ahh..no 996,and cant afford a 997...plus I dont really like them anyhow...help..joey..thanks

I think it would be worth your time to look through the 993 forum here and see what is being offered for sale by members. You might get more mods for your money and you can search posts by the owner to get a "history" of the car that they have for sale.
I lurked here for 6 months until a car that "spoke to me" came up for sale.
