The full package is a drilled air box cover, different mufflers and the slightly larger chrome square tips.

The air box cover is an easy mod. In fact, there are outlines on the inside of the cover where you could replicate the factory hole pattern. Others have drilled larger holes in a variety of patterns. A search should reveal some pics of the DIY cover.

I guess the real question is, how do u know if u have just the box and tips, or the whole set including the upgraded mufflers?

At least for the airbox, you can also tell the difference between the Motorsound Airbox Cover from Porsche and the Stock Airbox Cover by the chrome-like rim. Here is mine (1st pic is the standard airbox and the 2nd pic is the Motorsound airbox):

Are you guys sure that the Motorsound Package does not use different mufflers? I compared my Motorsound mufflers against a friend's non-Motorsound mufflers and mine were shorter in length by almost two inches.

Alon, there is no question that the Motorsound Package uses different mufflers--you're definitely correct.

In fact, they have their own part number to boot:

993 111 046 12 (R)

993 111 045 12 (L)

The mufflers will have the OEM manufacturer stamped right into them. Just get under and take a look.
