I don't think that 20% of the North American C2S's were in Vesuvio. I have only seen 2 in person. If I had to guess, I would imagine that black and silver (Arctic and Polar) probably make up at least 50% of the North American cars.

The colour on the door handles, mirrors and rear grill is called titanium, I think. As part of the Vesuvio package, all three were painted the different colour.

I can get the metal grau code if anyone needs it.
I own a 993S Vesuvio and would like to have the paint code for the steel grey color. I have some paint chips on the gear **** (from a ring or so) and would like to repair this.
Thanks in advance.

It is not called titanium, it is called Steel grey or STAHLGRAU

stahlgrau painted on vesuvio (besides where it is found on the Carrera S)

wheels
rear view mirrors
Handles
rear grills

The color code of the extras on Carerra S is:

Stahlgrau metalic MAT POR61W or in glasurit: P61W

This color comes originally in MAT. The shift **** brake handle wheels mirrors and door handles , Of Course, have lacquer applied after.
Keep this code handy, I had to be in germany and it wasn't easy to get.

Full color code with Sikkens (Akzo Nobel), impossible to get from Glasurit

Color Mix for 1 Litre:

666 ----- 393.7
00 ---- 394.8
575 ---- 395.9
952 ---- 398.2
744 ---- 493.8
333DF ----- 606.3
333C ----- 730.0
333CS ----- 966.2

Give this mix codes to your local sikkens dealer, and you got the color
this is what RL is all about

Your car looks nice , however I prefer the Vesuvio to be 100% original with the Steel grey accents. Was it repainted maybe and they did everything in the same color beside the grille ?

It's a car from the special wishes department. (Do they call it like that?) I added the split grill and the S scoops myself, the rest is original.

It has a 3.8 engine, turbo nose, 18" hollow spokes, full carbon interior, alu break and shifter, motorsound with big ovals etc....

So your car is a 4S ? I ask since you added the split grille and these came original on the S.
Where do you live ? I am from Belgium too. Maybe we could meet up some time.

The cleanest Vesuvio carrera S I have seen is actually on sale through Porsche approved used cars (europe), with VERY low mileage 19000 km.

3.8 litres option is X51 and not X50 as mentioned here-above
