congrats mark !

don't know how i missed this post... maybe it was the 997 thing in the title

seal grey is one of my fave colors... nice as it does hide the dust pretty well too. great write up!!! & insights... of real value for those of us considering.

fwiw: i am hoping to hear the 997gt3 is much more raw than the counterparts...

thx & & ahemmm some pics when ya getta chance?

Thanks, Rich!

FYI, in my first post, I added some info about the headlights that I forgot to mention.

I (in my 993) was with a 997 on the track...it was the guy's first DE event. That car made him look DAMN good....

i actually have finally seen a video that makes me want to go out and get a 911. have you guys seen this American Top Gear video Tanner Foust made of the GT2 RS ? (middle video clip) wtf !! can a 911 really stack up vs/ a Ferrari 458 Italia ?

997 is MUCH easier to wash / dry / polish also... ahh the benfits of improved aerodynamics!

Congrats Mark - I have not owned a 997, but have driven them on the track at the Porsche Driving School and they are fantastic especially with the PDK. However I don't really care for the electronics - PSM etc. I like the feel of my 993 without a brain other then mine thinking about applying brakes etc. That said they are fast and predictable but not as much fun as the 993.

Interesting when a post is resurrected.

Nice right up. The only omission was your forecasted depreciation 997v993 after nearly six years of ownership Lol.
