I would be interested, depending on brand and shipping rates. I'm planning to buy one in the next month.

I was quoted 120.00 to 150.00 from delaware to pa. and they also have a warehouse in Indiana I think that's fair.

I think he is talking about www.gregsmithequipment.com it's the Atla Pro 6 MR, mid rise scissor lift. I have one and have been very happy with it, and as I recall I paid about $1250 about 8 months ago. I actually drove there to see it before I bought it.

What would delivery entail? I have concerns as I am at the top of a steep driveway. I'd be interested if they can deliver to the garage.

Russ, From what I remember, they drop off at the street and charge extra for that. It is up to you to do the rest. These lifts are heavy, I picked mine up and then rented an engine hoist to remove from the truck.

Anyone ever done a comparison of the various mid-rise lifts available? They all seem pretty similar looking at a 300x300 jpg, but the prices vary from <$1000 to over $2000.

Questions I'd like answers to:

Do the individual companies actually manufacture the lift: metal cutting, welding, powder coating? Many of the lifts out there bear a striking resemblance to the budget standard China-made Harbor Freight lift. I wonder how many companies outsource manufacturing of some parts and/or rebrand a complete lift available elsewhere.

What about the functional parts? All these lifts use a couple of hydraultic rams and a pump. How do they compare? I'm sure there are different price/quality points for both items.
