Gentlemen, thanks very much for all those valuable infos. This is for sure on my check list before I get my car out next time. Touf I'm glad you've been so lucky! I too, like spirited driving on the twisty roads we have here...

I won't hazard a guess as to what caused Touf's failure, but I fully agree with Jack of Hearts that when using PSS9 with TRG/RS sways, you should definitely install an additional locknut under the drop link mount. I had big handling probs with my car because my drop link mount was rotating on the shock body. Not good. Had things taken apart just to add the locknut and I've been fine since. The problem is that when the sway bar is mounted under the lower a-arm, it puts a sideways load on the drop link mount (instead of up-down for non-lowered cars). This can loosen the mount.

I don't know if this caused Touf's failure, but it sounds like a possibility.
