Questions about stuff on the car in this picture:
Firstly, I'm having my front bumper cover resprayed next week and thought I might get rid of the bumperettes. What is a reasonable premium to pay for this and am I able to simply replace the clear corner lense I have now with a euro one? Where can I find one of these?
Second question is what kind of wheels are those? They are sweet! I think I need a set!
Third, where can I get cool upper windscreen tint like that with the Porsche lettering?
Thanks!

You can either ask your bodyshop for an estimate to fill in the bumperettes or buy a new euro bumper from Gert or other sources (I used Forest Fine in the UK) and sell your old one. The lights are available from a number of different places (Gert being one- and I think even your dealer could order them for you but you might have to give them the part #). The particular brake intakes on that car are available from MA Shaw or Better Bodies. Without ducting to the brakes, however, they are purely cosmetic and you might be better off getting the Euro fog light that goes there originally. Alternatively Gert has a set from TechArt that is much prettier and includes all the ducting but it is pricey. I think the wheels are BBS but not sure which model. Don't know about the tinting sorry.

Most 993's if not all sold in the UK have the top tint (green band) on the windscreen. I expect the Porsche lettering is just vinyl applied on the inside of the screen.

The wheels look like these on a car I sold. Get them from OEM Styles For Less

Mark:
I think you are correct after I looked. Mine are close, but not a match. Good call.

Man those wheels are suh-weeeeet!
I already have the turbo-S ducts and lights just like the car in the pic.
The shop said they think they can fill the bumperette holes with mesh and urithane, just not sure how well that will hold up over the long term if someone accidentally bumps the front of the car. My car is black so the bumperettes aren't as obtrusive as on lighter colored cars but it just seems like a logical "while they're in there" type of mod. May not be cost effective at about $300 per hole not to mention durability issues. If I went with a new cover all together I'd probably just get a euro S front cover but that will cut into my planned suspension upgrade budget and we can't be "all show no go" now can we?
As for the tint and lettering I figure if I can get something that will keep the sun out of my eyes without having to flip the sunvisor down it would be good since the visor hits my V1 (which is in the perfect spot on my windshield above the rearview mirror).

If you are talking about mine they are aftermarket and not very expensive. However, they are much heavier over stock wheels so if that is a concern you may want to look elsewhere. David H. in Baltimore has the same wheels and he likes the as well. I tend to go for a look over the performance aspect so these were a good choice for me. Whatever you decide good luck. There are so many choices for wheels out there. Have a good day.
