Reading other posts I have seen that they are also prone to cracks appearing and running out from the drilled holes.....dont know how true that is but have seen several comments

For the new members to the board, the holes are cast-in and not drilled.
For the new members to the board, OEM's through Sunset are cheap enough that you don't have to take a chance in Zimmerman's.
If I may paraphrase Mike Erganian (Jack's future father-in-law) from the movie Sideways, "Zimmermans...waste of time."

Good point both of you....
Finn...did not realize that all rotors crack...but I suppose when you look at the heat you "racers" develop but over zealous use of the brakes (hahaha just teasin) its not surprising.
Mark, yes knew they were cast, used drilled incorrectly.........

Yup, this issue comes up now and again. So a friendly reminder: use the search.
+1 on Sunset Porsche. I have bought from them often as they meet or better the prices of my local dealers, and that includes being shipped straight to my front door. Talk about service and convenience!

I've used Zimmerman's and OEM on the track. Beleive me the Zimmerman's aren't worth any savings. They crack much earlier, and then you have the labor of changing them out and bedding new pads.
The hubs do rust and even on my car (which is no freaking garage queen) I thought it was ugly enough to warrant painting. Of course painting means using a high heat paint and baking them in the oven. One whiff of that and I'm sure even the most parsiminous wife would say spend the money.

Thanks to all who replied. Sunset is the deal! OEM OEM enough said here's the copy of the email I got today in response to my price enquiry....
"Front rotors 109.19 ea
Rear rotors 112.98 ea
Front pads 133.45
Rear pads 92.36
Front anti vibration pucks you'd need 4 at 2.75 ea and 4 more at 3.48
ea
Rear pucks you'd need 8 at 3.02 ea
Front brake hoses 57.21 ea, a week away
Rear hoses 40.55 ea, but there are only 2 in the US at a week away, if
they sell out it's a month from Germany.
Front caliper bolts 4 at 1.69 ea, the rears are standard application
and
I don't usually sell them to guys doing a brake job.
Brake sensors are 10.18 each, car uses 4, only replace if needed. Makes
sense to buy for the future, you don't have to use them this time.
Oil filters are 11.63 and 13.95, drain plug seals are .31 and you need
2, and the o ring is 3.39 for the drain plug on the oil filter
thermostat housing.
The seal rings for the trans are the same as the oil drain plugs, so 2
more at .32 ea.
Hope this makes sense. Any questions please ask. Jeff."
Why would anyone want to shop for parts somewhere else....these guys are great!
