Is the lowered windshield annoying or does it feel OK?

 

It a little more breezy that the normal cab. However that's why you drive with the top down. With the windows up it's fine. I drive my with the top down only.

I'm spooked on all the mods with this particular car.

They'll be the right car at the right time and place.

Living on the beach in Southern California, I'm not worried about the fact the car apparently leaks in the rain. It'll only see sunshine when driven.

 

Even though I almost bought a 94 Speedster, the 89s are the better of the two.

 

Go for it. The 89 Speedster is a really special car. With the Andial upgrades, it would be even better.

 

I bought my 94 Speedster for its looks. I chose the 94 over the 89 because of the 3.6 engine - however, the 89 is still on my list of "to buy" cars as the widebody is simply gorgeous. Don't worry about the low raking windshield - you get used to the wind in your hair real fast! And to correct a previous poster, the 94 does not have an automatic top. It is manual juts like the 89s.
