Nice looking car, and with a proper ride height right off the bat! btw, it is a well known fact that the silvers cars got the strongest engines!

Welcome.

Thanks for the kind words guys, you certainly know how to make someone feel welcome

The picturesque cooling towers in the background are actually my local coal fired powerstation, very useful for my other love, soaring.. they provide great thermals

Been doing a little option decoding from my logbook, via pcar, ( kindell seems to be down ?), and I've resolved all but 2 of the options, can any one help ?
The two I'm missing are, 226 and 680.

Also is there anyway I can tell what model year my car is ?
It was actually registered on 28/11/95 so I'm wondering if its a MY96 ?

I was also pondering the 18 inch alloys.. ( I'd read about the steering brace thing ), they are a factory fitted, option;
M408 18" TECHNO WHEEL

So I'm guessing that as a factory fit, they should be ok ? And either had the brace done or not needed ?

I'm also a bit confused by two options that seem to conflict, although maybe its my misunderstanding of them ?
M220 LOCKING DIFFERENTIAL 40%
M224 AUTOMATIC LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL

Anyhow, I'm off for another drive now, while the roads are quiet, perhaps get a few more photos

Cant believe how much quicker the car is compared to my Audi TT that I chopped in, its just a whole new league, and the sound....
Havent actually figured how to work the radio yet... no need

Better get myself subscribed to Rennlist too

Aha, found the rennlist decoder, so 680 is

HI-FI Sound System with Booster

which would be the weird Nokia thing in the drivers side armrest ?

Got my rennlist membership now too

That's a really nice looking car. Well done. There is a VIN # look up on p-car, I think it tells you the model year. Also, I notice that the first ROW cars were '94 so your '95 may be a USA '96. That would explain your factory 18" technology rims.
Caution: I am among the least knowledgable here, but in a effort to be helpful I spew everything I think I know. So, you will have to check everything I tell you with someone who really knows what they are talking about.

Intersting that you have an ROW car and the speedo in in MPH. You also have an on-board computer - a nice option. I didn't know it was available on early non-tip cars.

I do note one serious problem with your car that I guess you overlooked - Your steering wheel seems to be on the wrong side, or perhaps the negative in the photo got reversed when printing?

I suspect your car to be a MY96 , look at the VIN nr.
If the 10th letter is a T you have MY96.
Also the '96 has 285 BHP instead of 272 for the older my's.
It should read "varioram" on your engine manifold if indeed a 96.
