Default ZMS Flywheel: a mid-weight dual-mass option?

So after reading all the LWF threads, I remember seeing something in Adrian's book:
The 993 GT-2 is fitted with a special lightweight noise reducing DMF called the ZMS flywheel...Double mass ZMS version 8.6kg (19lb)
Searched the archives and found nothing. Anyone have more info? Can it be fitted to regular G50/G64 'boxes?

I don't know about the fitment but I do know that Andial has (had?) a midweight flywheel-about 18 lbs, as I recall.
Not sure if Andial is still in business....

Andial is still in business for parts, no more service. I actually spoke w/ Pete last week.

Thanks Carmen. Glad to know Andial is still around. My next mod will be their flywheel and maybe some new gears in the transmission....

From what I've read here, the Andial MFW apparently solves the stalling problem on '95s, but is just as noisy as the LWF on which it is based. So far it seems to be the only alternative to a LWF, though. That's why I'm curious about a factory high performance DMF.

I have the MWF from Andial. It's great, a little noise, but nothing good sounding exhaust upgrade won't cure!

I dont hear much noise with my LFW (RS)=with a fabspeed open air box and upgraded Mille Miglia exhaust, my car sounds very nice.
