Default Targa Aero kit

I'm considering purchasing a 97 Targa which has an Aero kit hood. Any ideas regarding the removal and restoration to the standard rear end design. Will I have to replace the entire rear hood so that the Rear light assembly can be mounted? Since I haven't made an offer on the car I would like some idea of the cost of this conversion. Car has 27k and is in very good condition

I think its easier to buy a decklid complete from a dismantler and sell the decklid with the wing on to someone else. If you can find the same color then you will come ahead.

I have a standard rear deck lid in excellent condition that I would consider trading for one with the aero wing. Mine is Ocean Blue.
Let me know if you are interested.

Default aero kit

The car is black. A trade would be fine with me since I'll have to visit the painter anyway. Let me know if you are serious. I'm putting off making an offer until I resolve this.
Thanks

I have the Aerokit 2 on my 97 Targa and the rear wing is a separate element from the rear hood. It replaced the factory spoiler and the rear grille.
What type of Aerokit does the one you want to buy have?
