Default dent in door that cant be removed??- help

i have a small dent in my right door about 8-12 inches below the right side view mirror. The dent is visiable, but the paint is not damaged at all.
My shop called a dent-removal guy who was unable to remove the dent due to whatever side impact bars are in the door. They even removed the mirror but couldnt get his tools in there.

Anything else i can do? this dent really bothers me.

Just get the iside door panels off and you'll have full access to the sheet metal, then you can pop the dent out from the inside.

actually, there are some spots the dent guys can't get to.. I happen to have one of the dings that can't be reached.. (regardless of removing the door panel because of the location)

...and the guy who tried to work on mine has been doing this for 20+ years and is well known by a lot of dealerships as the best around.. .he's taken out plenty of other dings for me where the end result if flawless!

Chris is right, I had one that could not be removed because of the protection bar. I had to have the door repainted.

why does repainting the door remove the dent? how does the metal get pushed or pulled out?

Is there a protection bar below the side view mirror?

no.. the dent doesn't get taken out if the door is repainted.. it's called filler and sanding... (ever watch boyd coddington show where they use a ton of filler? ..that's the way the body shop does it... fill in, sand and re-paint)

I had the exact same dent and the first shop that saw it said the same thing. I took it to another shop and they hesitated for a while, then they found a way. If I recall correctly, they entered through the bottom of the door. Not an easy fix, but a true pro can get it done. Find another shop.
