Default Great Info

Thanks so much to all that have chimed in, really great info. Jim, I appreciate the info on the 'kinematic toe tools', I was not aware of that. Paul

Let me add another suggestion, DEVEK, in Redwood City. They installed my PSS9 and sway bars. Been very happy with their service. I believe they have the kinematic tool CP referred to.

Good luck.

They're out in Concord - not sure where Brentwood is?

Let me know if you need more info, but you can find contact info at his website:

I've had my 993 done at either of the two Bay Area specialists - Roger Kraus (who's son Brandon does the alignment work) and Custom Alignment. I like Roger Kraus better. Tony Heyer sends alignmnet work out to either Roger Kraus or Custom Alignment (or he did when I took my car there).

Many of the race shops may have the capabilities needed. I have Jerry Woods do all my work now (but that's on a 964 which doesn't have that fancy rear suspension). You should call and ask the shop you are considering if they have the tools and how many they have done recently. Chat for a moment about their suggestions on alignment settings. If they don't have a clue on the settings, or ask what ou want when you request their advice (and don't give any advice), shop elsewhere.

I had my suspension work done at Modderman in Mtn View (http://www.modderman.com/) - they are right down the road from custom alignment, where they take the cars to get aligned after they do the work. I also had my 60k mile service there. Honest, straightforward, and affordable. No affiliation, just happy customer.
