Does the fan have to be painted to show?

BTW, you need to start us off.

This picture is pre-Motorsound airbox cover, but with a clean fan:

This picture is post-Motorsound airbox cover, but now with a dirty fan (I'm embarrassed. ):

How dare you post a picture with a dirty fan like that???? Just kidding :-)

How many miles do you have on you car? That first picture is unbelievable!

Thanks. Next week I should be rolling over 30,000 miles. I bought it with 25,000 miles on it a year ago.

There is a link in my signature explaining how I cleaned mine, if you're interested........I suppose I should revisit it myself after seeing that dirty fan.

Bill,

Your engine is awesome--all stripped down. Do you have any plans for removing the A/C?

Here is mine before it went back in. Black powder coated fan housing, silver powder coated fan. Satin black paint on all the engine tin. Everything else just thoroughly cleaned.

I am having each blade of my fan painted a different florescent color and colored neon lights installed inside the bay with a UV strobe.

When I get the Turbo S wing I will have room for the mirror ball.

Looking at Bills engine and comparing them with the others, I noticed that he doesn't have the black box (don't know the name) that is on the right. What's the use of it??

He doesn't have an air box. Looks like a cone filter (air intake) inplace of stock airbox...
