Factory delivery on a new 964 C4 cab with the fellow I worked for, circa 1992 (age 23). I’m furthest away from the car in the jeans. At the time, they had dyno rooms breaking in the engines (so you could drive out immediately and go 170, which we did), cab softtops being hand-fitted, etc.The Porsche bug bit me pretty hard that day, I’d say, given where I ended up below!

Though I am not sure I am a fan and might put the originals back on (and the front lip is not 100% compatible with my steep garage entry ). But I love the rims and the condition overall is excellent. Got through the smog check yesterday and registration today. Very excited!
Yeh, I'll probably keep the parts when I take them off and try it without for a while and make a call eventually what I prefer. Given the outlay that's already gone into this car (CA sales tax yay!) selling some spare parts won't make that much of a difference. Right now I just want to enjoy it for a while. So happy to finally have it in my hands.

The car is an ex-UK ‘95 993 911 C2 in Polar Silver and to say I’m in love is probably an understatement! Aside from the lack of cold AC, and seemingly common little bits and pieces that need attention (eg, odometer not working.. ) it’s in great, driveable and enjoyable condition!
I’ve been driving it most days as a daily and am more than happy with it practically and emotionally!! I’ll reach out on other parts of the board for where I need specific help, but my main thing is I’m keen to meet other owners/drivers in the broader Sydney region..
So, how do I get in the loop? Pick up day!
