PCBFabExpress will do the board manufacturing and assembly for ~20USD. For the number of boards it doesn't make sense to go overseas for a cheaper per unit cost unless the order is just for blank boards, those I can get for ~3USD/each. I received quotes from most of the advertisers in EETimes and Electronic Engineering and they are about the same, do you know of any other board makers?

Can somebody tell me what PC software is needed? I keep reading "Scantool 3", but I can't find that thru google. Google gets me to www.scantool.net but that doesn't appear correct. A url would be appreciated!

I found a direct link to version 4 here ...

I haven't tried it yet myself though.

I am in for 1 board - prefer assembled, but if not available I will take a bare board.

Regarding timing, you said you'd tally the orders on 8/31. I am going to be out-of-town over the upcoming Labor Day weekend, so if you want to be paid before 9/5, please post paypal instructions.
