Default Brake Master Cylinder

Can anyone direct me to a site/post that describes the install for a new brake master cylinder?
When replacing the master cylinder, is it recommended to replace the slave cylinder at the same time?
Currently, I am not having problems with either but the car has about 70,000 miles so I am looking ot do this from a preventative maintenance viewpoint.

Thanks guys!

This DIY will help, http://p-car.com/diy/pedal/clutchlever.html

I replaced mine earlier this year. If you need any help, let me know.

You really don't want to tackle the brake master cylinder as preventative maintenance. There is no reason it won't last another 70k miles not to mention a replacement will cost you $650USD. The clutch slave cylinder is another item that could last just as long but the rubber connecting hose is starting to age (after 10 years most rubber hoses should be replaced) so it might be a good idea to replace that and if you're in there anyway...

$650?? I paid $65-70 (I can't remember) a few months ago from Pelican. Wow, what happened there?!

If there's nothing wrong with either, I'd suggest just a good flush of the slave as maintenance. Of course, that's what led me to replace them both. :-)
