Mom is driving a 996 Turbo S Cab.... Bob, get out here. We need you. Chris, I will see you this week.... The car needs a bit of ride height. I will try to figure out how to soften the shocks up a bit. Thanks for all the nice comments on the vehicle.

Congrats on the TT. I think once you adjust the PSS9s to your liking, you're gonna have a hard time looking back. I'm currently shopping around for PSS9s to drop on my cab and will be looking for a TT myself in a few months. It'll have to be black for me though.

Michael, what a beautiful car. Looks just like mine too. I have the PSS9s and the appear to be set just like yours, very low. I'm living with it just fine, but have to be very careful when I encounter something somewhat sever in slope. I'd suggest trying to live with it for a month or so. My set up is on number 5...in the middle and I like it but want to try stiffining the rear to 4.

Enjoy the ride. Hope the cab gets used now and then.

Thanks for the nice comments. Zicoamone, I don't know how to really do a podcast. The text there is the default template that the mac program starts one off with. I will try to get rid of it.
Thanks,
MLEDS

Michael, Congrats on your new car and a warm welcome to another beautiful TT in SoCal.
I have my PSS9 set at RS height. From your pictures it looks like your car is lower than mine (at least the front end does)...looks very aggresive

Enjoy the ride.

RE: your comment on the brake pedal feel, the 993tts and C4s have what is commonly known as "hydroboost," or in other words uses hydraulic pressure from an electric motor and accumulator to assist brake pedal pressure, as opposed to the conventional vacuum brake booster that your C2 cab has. The pedal feel is defnitely different between the 2. There is a special procedure to change the brake fluid on the hydroboost cars, and the first time I did it on a 993tt I got in and felt the pedal and it almost felt like i could push it to the floor and I was afraid I had screwed up so I re-bled the system and same thing, but then I went and drove it and the pedal felt way better when you actually used the brakes to stop the car, rather than pushing it while sitting still. I have now driven many hydroboost cars and they all feel this way. BTW the 964 C4 and the 964 Turbos have this system, all 964 and 993 C2s have vacuum boosters. I think the system turned out to be too complicated since all 996s, whether 2WD, 4WD or Turbo have conventional vacuum boosters. Hope this helps, and nice job on getting a 993tt thats's one of the best Porsches ever made!
