Where is Fan belt warning light sensor?

Default Same issue but fan belt light wont come off

Hello all, in desprate need off anyone support! I’ve changed the belt sensor and still my light wont come off, ive checked the microswitch and its giving a positive signal when pressed so signal seams to be sent somewhere but the light on my dash doenst goes off. Car is 911 mod 1995

  • I would check in the owner's manual as to what the meaning is and the various sources that may illuminate the light. Also
  • I suspect if you run the OBD Codes it may give you some insight into the cause of the light.
  • Having verified that the warning light is related to the belt sensor I would also take the sensor switch wires and short them out with a paper clip and see if the light goes out.
Just some thoughts.

Ive shorted the belt sensor knowing i just changed it... nothing happened
same i did for the brake wear sensors ive shorted all 4 and the same still on my brake light wont go off

Check the switch at the rear of the handbrake.

It came out to something to do with the vdo unit under the dash, sprayed it some contact cleaner pluged it correctly all off except now rear apoiler light is on.... along with the airbag light

Just a thought. Did u disconnect the Battery?
A forced reset
This may or should force computer to acknowledge new electronic parts
