New toy.. pics :-)
It will be two years ago next month since I made the mistake of selling my Iris Blue 1996 Cab (a mere 13k miles on her) I think it was a whole 4 months before I regretted selling it. However, my new toy is finally here!!!! I will not make the mistake of be Porsche-less again.
After much searching and a great deal of help from the folks at Rennlist, I recently took delivery of a ‘new to me’ 993. It’s a 1997 Zenith Blue Cabriolet. It has a grey interior complete with heated seats, a must in chilly Chicago. With only 40k miles the car is literally in perfect condition. With the exception of a 1 well touched up rock chip, I have yet to find a scratch (I am the definition of ****) In addition to heated seats this car has a few things my last 993 did not. This car has H&R springs and RSR mufflers with the motorsound package. The car looks much better sitting lower and seems to handle much better. I absolutely love the RSR mufflers.
So far I have installed an iPod compatible head unit. It is an Alpine CDA-9857 and I couldn’t be happier. It’s great to roll around with 60gigs of music.
Thanks for all who helped in my search. Especially one rennlister who went FAR above and beyond by giving it a visual inspection for me!

pcar964...it's close but compare the two ride heights in my signature and the last picture posted (mine is the very next one) and you will notice the difference. My 95 is at RS spec with 17's and stock size tires, Trey03's looks a little higher with his 17's and tires...but still nice.
