I'm looking for a 3 spoke steering wheel from a 996 for my 993. Black or black and aluminum with airbag/center section. Ayone out there have a spare one for sale?

Hard to come by and very expenive when you do find one... check ebay. I actually had the 996 3-spoke wheel and sold it abd bought the AJ USA wheel by Atiwe... it's a little bit smaller (340 mm) and feels/looks great (IMHO). Here's a before and after pic.

Try looking for the wheel and airbag seperately. E-bay usually has one or the other and they seem to go for less when sold apart. Have a bit of patience and you will find a good deal. Best of luck.

Jeff "trojanman" - what is the name of the place that sold you the AJ USA three spoke wheel??? How much?

I did find a three spoke on e-bay but without the airbag. It was $250.00 not bad, about $200 less than carenewal for the wheel. Still need to find an airbag center section if I go that route.

AJUSA in San Diego sells the wheel... brand new it's ~$800 for the wheel w/ airbag. I found mine lightly used from a Rennlister for around $550.

Thanks for all the info. After internet, Excellence, ebay and phone calls I went with the Porsche 3 spoke wheel.

I found a almost new (take off only a few hundred miles old, person traded in on a aluminum and leather version ) 3 spoke wheel for $250 and a center cection/ airbag for $500 (Brandywine for the airbag). In all about $250 less than brand new or from Porsche or Carenewal. Not bad.

I also ordered a new shifter boot and **** (S model style) in my interior color of classic grey.

Anyone have a picture of the "S" version of a 97 or 98 993 shifter know / boot?
