I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!
After almost three years of searching for a 993 I finally got one. I was convinced that I would end up buying one from the U.S. and importing it due to our strengthening Canadian dollar, but lo and behold one pops up for sale in the Ottawa area. An eight hour train ride later and my wife and I are test driving a beautiful 96' targa in midnight blue over tan leather (completely stock except for the Alpine stereo and Amp). The PPI checks out clean and she's mine. What an amazing drive home. I'm still getting used to the car and all it has to offer, but I am absolutely ecstatic about it.
Many thanks to all the Rennlisters who chimed in on my numerous posts asking for advice. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to work this crazy thing.
Thanks again,
Bob (newbie canuck)

Bravo!
What is good about canadian car is that during the winter we take care of them making modification or just dismantle everything and clean it waiting for spring to arrive. They also have low milage running 6 month a year. I found a canadian C4S with 70,000 kilometer mint condition.
have fun
