EBS Bearing Tool - I am confused.
Hi guys,
I went to order the EBS bearing tool this morning so I can replace the FRONT bearings on my '95 C2 rear-wheel drive.
The rep at EBS thought I needed the P90-P1 tool, but the only one I've read about here is the P90-P2.
I'm still working under the assumption that I do need one of these tools to install the new bearing in front wheel housing before the hub goes back in, even though it's not a four wheel drive car.
It seems like these tools are mainly used for the rear bearings and not the fronts. Can anyone shed some light on which of the two tools I need to order to replace the FRONT bearings?
Thanks!
Colin

You'll need the P-90-P kit which is the bearing installation kit, the P90-3 which is the hub extractor, and P90-3J which is the horseshoe adapter to pull the hub out of the bearing. You might as well aslo get the P90-CASE which is the nice hard plastic case that stores all of the parts. Well worth it. Put the bearings in your freezer and use some press fit lube when installing the bearings to make it easier.
