I am alomost starting to think the same thing!!! TPC has been terrible to deal with!!! I had done quite a bit of research about them and had got back mostly all postive feedback. Not in this case, not sure if it is just because i am a Canuck, but i would not recommend them to anyone... customer support wise.

Did you need the R4 programing software or di dyou need the actual program that is loaded into the Split second box?

IMHO.. get rid of that crappy Split Second box and go by a Unichip.

I'm running Unichip without the 7th injector. Instead I'm running a 2.5" pulley 9psi with air to air intercooler and TT injectors.

PM me and we'll discuss this further.

TPC.... I have several friends who have been lucky enough to live realatively close (compared to Ab) so drive to their premises, drop their cars and say YOU make it run right. Some eventually do!

Default TPC Supercharger owners HELP!

TPC will not release or send the software to Splitsecond. Also they are to busy to re-program my box for the next couple of weeks! so if any supercharger owners have the R4 software could someone please graciously find it in ther heart to send me this... so i can finally drive my car...

I am sorry to hear you having problem with them. I have their system on my car since May 01 so far so good after 27.1K miles knock on hood. I am thinking about adding the intercooler since TPC promised to re-flash the computer with the newest software. After hearing from you maybe this is not a too good of an idea to proceed with the project. I am in the Tampa bay area and my mechanic is very knowledgeable with the system. I think you should tell them you are going to put it on the forum maybe that will get their attentions. I wish you best of luck.

Too bad TPC is too busy to take care of the people who keep them in business.... I live about 30 miles from their shop and have had them fine tune my car. I do not have the intercooler and perfer the cleaner lines. I heard from TPC that they will very soon have a new, more powerful computer that is Bluetooh enabled and allows realtime adjustments while on the Dyno. They claim to be able to tune out the slight detonation under heavy loads and gain some extra hp at the same time.

Why Supercharge????.............. the new, wide powerband is totaly awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's why!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been in the process of getting my 964 rebuilt by TPC while also installing a supercharger. The last time I was there they had a 993 on the dyno with the NEW EMS (LINK ) and the car (Supercharged 993) was pulling some crazy numbers. I wouldn't of believed it unless I saw it with my own eyes. The new computer is a dramatic, well worth option/improvement.

Sorry to hear about your support issues. On the other hand, when this system is working right it is stupid fast and very fun to drive.

I wonder if they will have a TPC/Uni-Q unit for NA cars.

A few years ago there was (UniChip) and it didn't work too well with Porsches. The system was a real hack job and the ECU would eventually outsmart it causing any performance gains to slowly return back to normal.
