I just got word from our region's autoX chairman that Ray Calvo passed away this week , of natural causes.
From the email:
"Ray passed away some time early Tuesday morning. The initial indication from the coroner is that his death was the result of natural causes. We expect to transfer his remains to the Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home and make the necessary arrangements long distance."
If I hear anything else, I'll let you know.

Wow...I don't know what to say. I never met him in person, but I always chuckled to myself when reading his posts. Thanks for letting us know. He will truly be missed here.

im very sorry to hear this. i always enjoyed Ray's posts and his sense of humor. God bless him and deep condolences to the Calvo family.

Oh My God........A true shocker. Ray was one of my all time favorites on rennlist. I am truly, deeply saddened, my most sincere condolences and prayers to his family.
Ray was 55.

Wow, unbelievable. His post were always entertaining. My condolences to his family. From what I gathered from a statement he made one time he was only in his 30’s, not sure.
