Is the clock project still ticking over?

Hugo,
It sure is. I have all of the necessary clock movements back from repairing and refurbishing, and am now waiting on the wood blanks. I actually had the entire batch in my hands last week, but quickly discovered that the laser-engraved logos were missing So back they went.

I expect to have the completed bases back to me this week and can then begin the assembly process. Please stay tuned

Yes, because Andreas is churning out thousands and thousands of clocks. He's like the Terminator: he can't be reasoned with, can't be bargained with and absolutely will not stop until every 993 clock has been converted to home use.

Monty,
North Hollywood Speedometer can repair just about anything on these clocks (and I should know). As for me hoarding every last one on earth, have no worries. I made 20 clocks during round 1, and will complete 30 more during the next few weeks. You can buy as many of these as you want from LA Porsche - just be prepared to receive your clock(s) in substantially worse shape than promised..... Live & learn.

If you're talking about the Miata, it has a smashed instrument binnacle and a small hole.

Stupid tree branch.

Stupid insurance company.

Stupid me.

Bob,
I'll certainly add your name to the list. I decided on 30 clocks based on initial demand. A few of the original responders disappeared from the radar screen, so I think there will be a few clocks available when I start asking for payment....

Mark,
I was referring to the dash of your 993 (in response to your earlier comment - post #51)

Andreas,

STILL, the best time-keeping clock in my house (other than the Atomic clock...)!

Happy customer

Andreas, will this work with older clocks? I have a Palo Alto refurb out of my 1973 911E. If so I'd like to purchase one, sans clock.

Carlos,
Thank you!

Dan,
You need to thank VDO!

Robert,
As long as the outside dimension is the same, I can make it work. Please send an email to me and we can discuss.
