Default 993 Turbo Tail Install

I just got a 993 turbo tail and test fitted today. On ething I noticed is that there are gaps along the edge and the bottom by the latch.
Is there suppose to be a gasket/weather stripping that comes with the turbo tails?
Does anyone have any pictures of the underneath of the tail and the engine bay to see if there are any seals/gaskets?

Is your tail OEM or aftermarket? I have an aftermarket and there are larger than normal gaps between the fenders and bumper. I need to do something for water, eventhough the car is not driven in the rain. It doesn't look perfect.

Do you know who made your tail? If your tail is aftermarket and was molded off a buck that was made from a factory piece then you may see the imprints for the slots that are shown in Robin’s photo. I have a MA Shaw piece that has the slot imprints on it. The rubber piece has molded feet that insert into the slots to secure the seal on the tail. Factory Turbo S has the same rubber seal arrangement. If you have those imprints they would serve as a good template to cut your own slots and install a factory rubber seal. If you don't like the idea of cutting slots then I would suggest getting a factory rubber seal and carefully remove the feet from the rubber and attach another way (glue, small screws, etc)

^ He probably thought he was responding to his original thread, and had this one already opened.

I figured it was something like that - but I had this picture and thought it was funny...
