Naaahhhhh it would be all good - I replaced it with a home-made ballast resistor in April 2010 - still works just fine

I still have (and will keep) the 993 I bought new w/177K+ on it, but I will be taking delivery of a new 992 this week (hopefully), so good to know I will need to fill up on the other side.

Hope you get one of your previous 993 back one day, that would make a great story. Enjoy your 992!

For a while I had cars that had gas caps at all four corners (993 FL, 997 FR, Vantage RL and BMW M3 RR) - it was a bit complicated pulling up to a gas station and trying to remember where it was.

I now only have 3 locations across 5 cars - I'm missing RR but have two FR (991 GT3 and 992) and two RL (F355 and Vantage) - still a bit confusing at times but I can see some of them so not that bad.
