Hey guys....I am looking to get some Carbon Fiber Wedge mirrors for my 1996 Carrera 4S....does anyone know where I can find a set? Anyone have pics of them installed on their car?

Unless you are getting the Ruf mirrors for aerodynamic reasons, why bother? Better mods to spend your money on IMHO...

That seems like a waste of a mod, Adam... for a track car it makes sense, but you won't see any benefit on the street imho.

Adam,

I can understand the desire to use more aero mirrors.... I'm looking for the Ruf mirrors myself! I probably won't install them for a long while, because of the door paint issue. I wonder if I can use "bumper plugs" as a temporary solution?

Adams,

Go for it, they are great.
Despite what other might think, I personally love CF mirrors on the car, they also save weight..

Mine are Spa Technique and you can buy them from Longacre or www.racerpartswholesale.com In fact I am ordering another 2 sets right now.

Don't expect excellent CF quality, but they look very nice.

I don't know if they show on my avatar, I can send you pics if you like.

good point - probably not unless you're trying to shave every single ounce off the car...
