Default New 993 owner from Singapore

Hi Guys,
I am a new 993 owner from Singapore, I used to own a 930 Slang Nose (which is why turbo138).
I have been reading your forum & I think the 993 owners are very helpful.
Hope I can join you guys & share some new tip on this great machine !
Attached is the pic of my car.
It has a RS3.8 engine, not as fast as the turbo but respond is great for track & city drive.

Default Congratulations...

What a great looking car and I love your rims. Mine is the same color as yours.
Porsche Dealer-Singapore is a place where I buy parts for my 993. (I live in Jakarta).
Can you please inform me where I can find shops that sell Porsche's OEM and Aftermarket parts in Singapore? Where did you buy those rims?

Thanks so much.

Looks great. Cant imagine too many in Singapore?

Would love to know how much your 993 cost in Singapore given cars generally are like 3 times the price of those in Hong Kong (which is already another 20-30% at least more than equivalent cars in the States).

Congratulations on a great looking car. I'm envious of the 3.8. Sounds like a great machine. Welcome to the club.

Hi Guys,
That's a very warm welcome I've got here, Thanks for your comments !

9Nine3, I get my parts from UK or US, , most parts are still cheaper dispite the shipping cost.
If you need any parts from Singapore, just drop me a email.

P993, I bought my 1995 993 for about US$100K,
a new 997 would cost about US$280K,
new 997TT is about US$400K.
Mad prices ?

mad is an undestatement... wow. Is cost of living higher and salaries higher as well? Or just skewed towards autos?

Beautiful car, by the way!!

turbo138,
Congrats and nice car. I have to tell my wife that the 2nd TT I want to buy is a bargain @70k in the US. I'll tell her I'm saving about 80k off the prices abroad........
