I have driven my friends camper version Eurovan pretty extensively, through many States, and they do handle pretty nice for how heavy and tall they are. It would be a lot more practicle to retro fit a TDI motor, but what fun would that be it you could fit a 993 motor. I drove the vw transporter (Euro version) with TDI, in the UK, and it is a major improvement over the audi inline-5 many are fitted with. I have not driven any with the vr6.

That thing is insane.. I really dig it.. Kids just pinned against the back as it corners! I'd take it in a NY minute as well.. I had a eurovan for a week and it was a blast-

i love the retro-minivan that Doug posted!! So cool.
How about a restored VW beetle (herbie) powered with a porsche motor?

you guys should relax .. while im not selling my TT to get a monster minibus, i think its great that someone made it.

No one (or car) was hurt and this is certainly better fun than that british idiot who made a video by destroying a vintage 911 just to prove how well made it was.
