Default FS: 993 Euro-Style Clear Lenses

New in box. Bought off ebay, unfortunately it didn't say they were euro-style anywhere. Stamped on the housing it says:

JUNYAN
HU10-CB
MADE IN TAIWAN
LENS: PMMA
BASE: ABS

Asking $70USD + $20USD Shipping to US or Canada

Lerxst: what's the problem with them? They won't fit in the US bumper with the little rubber bumperette?

Lerxst -

Others have cut their lenses down to fit cars with bumperettes.

Food for some thinking.

No problems with them. You have to shave them down to fit with a bumperette, or you remove the bumperette and fill the notch in the bumper.

I had to cancel my 993 purchase due to unforseen expenses so I have no 993 to put them on

Jeff: how hard is that (shaving) to do, and how does it come out? I've got a source for clear lenses that fit right in the US bumper but they are $100 a side.

They are tentatively sold... I'll post if there's any change.

Thanks guys!

Did you buy them from this guy http://cgi.ebay.com/90-98-PORSCHE-91...QcmdZViewItem?

What is up with these lights? Are they for real? Anyone else buy them or try them on their car?

Brave Heart,

I would be reluctant to shave these... They are not OEM Hella lights. I would bet my dollar (only $1) that they might crack... Just my .02 cent.

BTW, they are probably no problem for someone with the Euro bumper.

If I had to buy another pair I'd would buy this type and cut them myself. The ones I bought from AJusa didn't have a good cut, bad angle. The silicon is coming off too.

I would encourage anyone keeping their bumperettes to buy the euro lenses & cut them. It's very easy. You can pick up the Euro lenses from sunset at a pretty reasonable price.
